Your On-site hosts:
Dave and Su are your hosts for your stay in Tropical Paradise. Hailing from England, by way of many Caribbean/South American Countries, now long time residents of Bocas Del Toro. They have grown up in the area for the last 14 years. Their knowledge about the local area, including indigenous and ex-pat communities is extensive and depending on your desire – truth or fiction – they can weave a good tale about how the archipelago has grown (or not grown) over the last two decades.
If you are looking for an excursion, adventure, or business deal during they can provide in-depth knowledge about who to believe and where to go. If it is a good story about the area and history, definitely share a glass of wine with them over dinner for some great English wit and insights of the land of Pirates.
Dave and Su along with, Miquel (Chef and right hand man) strive to make your stay at the Garden of Eden the best it can be. While living or vacationing in a tropical paradise comes with a very different attitude about nature Dave, Su and Miquel can help put it all together into a vacation that you will always look back on fondly.
About Your Stay at the Garden of Eden:
We are a small Bed and Breakfast located in the tropics, which means you can count on rain and bugs. You will encounter these all over Central America so do not think you are special just because you chose The Garden of Eden . Rooms are attended to daily, however, we only replace linens and towels after the third day of your stay to help conserve water and energy. We do not provide the toiletries in small, cute, environmentally unfriendly bottles. However, if you should have forgotten or run out of some critical need, please ask your hosts. Typically we have the essentials from bug spray to shampoo.
